Getting started on the Public Test Server

The Public Test Server (PTS) is accessible from a client different game than you normally use on Aion. You need to install a new version, even if Aion is already installed on your PC. To do this, please follow one of two methods below:

Method No. 1 - Duplicate your existing

1) Go to NCSoft directory on your hard disk. The default path is C: \\ Program Files \\ NCSoft \\ "

2) Create a new directory to" AionPTS. Warning, the name must be absolutely AionPTS.

3) Access Now the directory where Aion is installed on your hard drive. The default directory is "C: \\ Program Files \\ NCSoft \\ Aion"

4) Copy and paste the entire contents of that directory to "AionPTS" (default "C: \\ Program Files \\ NCSoft \\ AionPTS" ). AionPTS must contain the same files Aion.

5) Start your Launcher NCsoft. It should automatically detect AionPTS as the directory where the client's test server is located. "AionPTS" should now appear in the list of installed games (left list).

6) Update if needed and start the game!

1) To connect, use the same login and password on servers 'normal'. Good game!


Method 2 - Install New

1) Download the installation file test client (9.8 GB) from one of these two sources:
- GamersHell
- FilePlanet

2) A Once downloaded, run the installer and follow the instructions on the screen. A new game "AionPTS" will appear in the list of games installed on your Launcher NCsoft (list left)

7) Update if needed and start the game!
