Interview No. 1 Kinslon Aion


Aion v1.9 happens very soon and our Daeva Journalism, Aquilanius, had the opportunity to meet with the Producer of the game, Chris "Kinslon" Hager. During this interview, Kinslon gives more details on the dedicated skills to counter attacks stun (stun) and the daily quests of 1.9. Aquilanius: Kinslon Hello, can you tell us how exactly the skills cons of crippling attacks will they work?

Kinslon: You can buy the skill "Remove Shock from a non-player character. Once your character has learned this skill, the next time you're paralyzed in combat, Remove Shock became available as a skill you can use to remove the paralysis that affects your character and increase the resistance of the latter in this type attacks for 7 seconds. Later at higher levels, skill-specific classes allow you to cons-attack once you have successfully parry the attack of paralyzing your opponent.

Aquilanius: How is it that these skills be acquired? Are stigmas or skills learned from an NPC?

Kinslon: At level 40, all classes will buy the skill "Remove Shock" with a specific NPC. Remove Shock is a skill that can be directly learned by your character once purchased. The superior skills which will be based on Remove Shock can also be purchased from NPCs.

Aquilanius: What is the impact of this new skill in the overall balance of the classes?

Kinslon: With each update of an MMO, the game designers must balance the classes as players progress in learning skills and tactics that allow them to optimize (sometimes too) some of their skills.

With the update of Aion 1.9, all classes can parry attacks and crippling attack against a certain level. This strengthens the balance between all the classes in the game The future updates will continue to focus on that and allow players to develop new tactics fighting following the introduction of new skills. Version 1.9 is no exception to the rule.

Aquilanius: What level will they benefit from daily quests?

Kinslon: Each race will receive two sets of daily quests. Gives a faction quests from level 30 and another begins at 40. Once a character joins a faction, an icon appears every day in the game interface giving access to a new daily quest. You can then choose to accept or refuse this quest but it will continue to be proposed to you every day until you decide to leave the faction in question.

Aquilanius: What are the rewards of daily quests?

Kinslon: Ah, but it completely spoil the surprise! More seriously, I prefer that you discover it for yourself when 1.9 comes out. I will say that the quests offer a wide range of rewards: XP, weapons, armor pieces, and even new titles!

Aquilanius: How long will an average daily quest?

Kinslon: The time it takes for players finish a daily quest depend mainly on the chosen game mode (single or group), the faction that can be reached and the specifics of the search in question. The game designers want to offer the widest variety possible. Some daily quests require a special effort on your part but the rewards are even greater.
