Escalade "Magic Wood" and Austria!

this new blog devoted to the "Swiss German" and the escalation in "Austria"!


We crossed the Swiss to go to the "Magic Wood", a major site blocks.

On the way, we saw beautiful scenery ...!

After two days of rain, we head towards "Austria".

We climbed the "Kaunertal" and "the Otzal.

We descend towards the site of "Egelswand.

There is ample parking at 500 meters from the cliffs.

However, it is forbidden to stay overnight.

Leaving the car park on the left, approximately 1 mile on the right, there is free parking.

You can find potable water to the village near the parking lot and toward the cliff.

Indeed, the space at the foot of the cliff is very well equipped!

A small park with tables, chairs and fountain.



There are also two toilets and a chemical waste sorting ... That leaves us with no way ...!

routes are numerous and spread throughout the cliff.

They are between 20 to 50 feet, difficulty of 3 to 8. They are technical.
